5 Steps to a Full Time Information Business Income

5 Steps to a Full Time Information Business Income

In this article I am going to teach you my own personal 5 step process for getting a client to a 5 figure income online selling information as product packages or coaching programs.

Truth is - building an information business online is both easier and much more difficult than you might see at first glance.

You see, on one hand - the formula itself is pretty simple - find people who need what you teach, and sell it to them.

Create packages and coaching programs that meet their needs, write sales letters that convert, and get them to buy.

But in reality - when there may be hundreds of people in your niche trying to do the same thing, what happens is that your prospects are seeing multiple other people just like you who claim to be able to help just like you can.

So what you need is to be able to differentiate yourself from all the others in your niche - which in my model, is the very first step you should take in building a full time information business.

I call that step: positioning yourself as an expert.

Now, inclusive in that concept is the idea that you must indeed BE an expert. If you are - great. If not, get the training you need. Learn what you need to know to be considered an expert. The truth of the matter is, if you spend 3 months trying to learn how to drive traffic, but when someone gets to your site it is obvious you don't know your stuff- guess what? They are going to leave. Traffic wasted.

The second step is to create a clear picture (or outline, blueprint, flowchart, you get the idea) of exactly what you can teach and deliver to your clients.

Instead of focusing on what "product" you can create and sell, focus on what "information" or "knowledge" you can impart. Once you've done that, it makes it easy to then package your training.

Which leads to step 3...which is packaging your training. Two ways are coaching and products (of course).

Personally, I recommend having both. Some clients want to just get the information. Others want someone to ask questions of. If you just have products and no coaching, you are only going to generate about 50% of the possible revenue. And if you have just coaching and no products...once again, your revenue will be about 50% of the possible total.

Step 4 is to create a credibility building email campaign that bonds with your subscribers and builds relationships and trust.

And step 5 is to create a consistent method of getting people to become subscribers in the first place.

So a quick review: position as an expert, blueprint your information, create coaching and products, build an email campaign that builds trust, then drive traffic into that campaign.
