3 Ways to Increase Your Website Income With Your Brand

The world has changed over the past decade. Marketing that used to work is no longer effective. It used to be that we had three TV channels and one newspaper. Business owners advertised using these mediums. Now not only do we have hundreds of TV channels and thousands of print publications, but we also have the internet, which has changed the way businesses market their products and services forever.

The purchasing public surfs the internet and spends mere seconds on a website before clicking away if they don't see what they want. It's more crucial now than ever for businesses to create brands that stand out from the crowd, grab attention, and encourage sales. The challenge is how to do that. This article gives you three ways to increase your website income with your brand.

Connect the brand with the benefit

Too often we forget to tell visitors what the benefit is to purchasing our product or service. Put yourself in your target client's shoes. What do they plan to do with your product? How is it going to benefit them? Where would they be in the future if they hired you now? Give them the vision of the end result and you will be on your way to more sales.

Use visual images instead of text

To take the benefit further, paint a picture of the life your client will achieve if they purchase your product or service. Will they be sitting on the beach with a margarita in their hand? Will they have an organized functioning office that will allow them to go home on time? Will they have their dream kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances and top of the line granite counter tops? Rather than represent each section of your website with text links, use picture links to encourage results.

Tell your visitors what to do using an image

After you attract the website visitor to your site, what's the next step? The biggest mistake clients make with their brand and website design is not only neglecting to tell visitors what to do next but not using a visual marker to guide the decision process. Rather than "add to cart" or text that says "contact us," use a custom designed graphic to call attention to and move the visitor along in the decision process.

Conclusion

The sales and marketing game has changed. In order to have success in the internet age, businesses must learn to harness the power of a custom brand along with visual cues to get more income on the web. A bland, boring template website with pages of text will do nothing for the internet marketer. Those who win in this "new age" will be those who connect a brand with a benefit, use visuals rather than text, and tell visitors what to do next.
